Platform scales are distinguished by their very identifiable platform, often with a weighing head/indicator extended up from it as these scales are normally placed on the ground, acting as a platform to weigh various lower-weight product. They come in varieties that can include a platform-level weighing head which is significantly more appropriate for bench-top use, as the weighing head tends to extend about 80cm to 1 meter vertically. These scales are often trade-approved, given the commercial nature of their use and can be calibrated all by our team of instrumentation experts.
The platform scales we source are largely waterproof and washdown resistance, specifically designed for wet and harsh environments. The ability for platform scales to withstand harsh hygiene requirements is more essential now than ever, both for contamination-prevention and cross-product contamination, as well as for general increased hygiene expectations of consumers.
